Great, BUT Only One Audio!

Everything is decent about it, the software is very complex so although it is confusing, it lets you be picky and specific by adjusting lots of settings and features. The only thing i did not like is, its a "4 Channel DVR" and says "audio" in the title but ONLY HAS ONE AUDIO INPUT, so you can only record audio on one camera, which i did not know. YES it is listed in the specs here on their site, but I did not notice it, because you would think if its called a 4 channel DVR with audio, that it would have 4 channels with audio, but nope.
I wont bother to return it, to much work, but otherwise its great for me. You can set passwords to access it, and set limits, pretty sweet.

After receiving this compact unit, I installed my own 1.5 TB "green" drive and within 5 minutes was watching my CCTV's. I did have problems getting the PTZ cameras to work over the RS-485 port but after calling tech support and allowing them to access my dvr over the internet, they got it working flawlessly. I used to use a Q-See dvr which was nothing but frustrating and very loud (it has a fan that is on constantly and will keep you awake at night) but this RHV1004 is absolutely quiet and fully featured. I am glad I made the switch.
